Store in a cool, dry place. Once prepared, the product should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 48 hrs

Ingredients

Sugar, maize starch, potato starch, flavouring, salt and colour (annatto norbixin).

Preparation Steps

Step 1:

Dissolve the contents of the sachet (190g of powder) in 7.5 dl of warm milk*. Add one beaten egg

Step 2:

Bring to the boil and simmer for 1 minute, stirring constantly

Step 3:

Pour into a greased dish, 22 cm in diameter

Step 4:

Preheat the oven to 180-200ºC and bake for about 30 minutes

Step 5:

Allow to cool in a refrigerator for about an hour and a half  before serving

Decoration suggestion: Add 30 g of sultanas or raisins to the mixture before pouring into the dish.
